Does anyone know if Chinese quinces are self fertile or not?

Nevermind apparently they are at least partially depending on the source you read.

Brian, quince in general seem to be self fertile. They are not like apples or pears. I think you would be pretty safe to grow just one. You could always graft another clone onto a branch if you have difficulty getting fruit.

Yes they are. I had a friend send me seed from china before. The largest varieties come from Baoshan prefecture, Yunnan province China.
