Are there any sources in CA for the Sfusato giant lemons? These are actually a citron hybrid used to make limoncello.

Saw some giant lemons about that size or larger in the central CA. I asked about them, turns out half of the fruit is rind.

Indeed, in Italy they use the rind in salads. Any chance you can get some budwood?

i know of a tree that produces a very similar fruit, one that tastes like a lemon with a hint of grapefruit. thorny as all hell though.
the bottoms of the fruit are round, not pointed as well.

That would probably be some type of Pumelo

Laaz, I have this thing. They're giant and the rind is very thick. If you want some wood I can get you some. I haven't figured out what to do with them. Of course that is provided citrus wood is allowed into NC.

Yes, they have a nipple at the end but it's different from the picture, they are not as big, and the rind has a strong limoncello smell.

Most likely a private party is paying to have the wood imported and quarantined, and just like the Sumo it won't be available to just anyone.
