OK, growing rare fruits is also about enjoying rare fruits. Well, I just came up with an amazing smoothie recipe, you have to try this, it's incredibly yummy.

The ingredients are all depicted in the image below. The best places to get both rose water and pomegranate syrup is at either a health food store or at a middle Eastern grocer. I got mine at Staff of Life in Santa Cruz.

Take the following ingredients and put them in a blender:
- 32 oz (1qt) of nonfat organic yoghurt
- 7 TBS of pomegranate syrup (unsweetened)
- 3 TBS Rose Water
- a splash of bitter almond oil
- 2 bananas

Blend and serve, let me tell you, it's out of this world, so incredibly yummy, and very addictive.

oh yum.
flower waters are so lovely.
i was served a dessert that was sublime:
take mandarins, peel and section, heap sections on platter.
sprinkle liberally with orange flower water, rose water, and (lightly) cinnamon.
eat with fingers.

That sounds sublime indeed! I will have to try that out, I have so many mandarins right now. I have a bottle of orange blossoms water waiting to be used.
