Raja Puri Bananas

Well, my Raja Puri`s are ripening. I`m sure these aren`t anywhere near the size they should have been, but any banana you can grow and eat here should be considered a success. They are quite tasty. Very sweet and maybe a bit acidic.

David, I know you were interested in trying them. If you send me your address I`ll put a hand in the mail ASAP

bananas

Jeff, looks like it was on 11-21-03 that I cut the bunch.
I don`t think the DO`s (or CG`s) whatever they are are going to ripen but I could be wrong.

raja puri in zone 7 ?

I have three raja puri trees i live in upstate of s.c. I planted these this spring all three are between 8-9 ft tall. I don't know how to maintain these trees over the winter should i dig them up and replant next spring ?
