Need help to identify strange guava plant

Had this for about a year now. Not a fast grower, but the strange thing I notice is it has 3 leaves sprouting for each section of new growth, I know most of the guava cultivar should have 2 only. Any idea what is the cultivar? I got the seeds from tradewindsfruit. And when I first started, I thought it was a yellow strawberry guava, but now I see it is totally different. Do you think it was mixed up of the label by them? Any such experiences out there?

My Mexican Cream Type, has one limb like that

Jet
I went out and looked at my guava plants, small plants in pots and larger in ground plants. Two leaves are the norm. I did find one 2 foot long limb on my Mexican Creme type guava, that grew this season. It was the only limb, maybe it mutated???? Could of occurred in and because of fast early seasonal growth.

3 leaves per section I am confused.

I just walked the yard and my first reply is "no such thing". Well cool, now I have. All of mine have 2 leaves per section. Well grow a fruit and tell(pictures please) what it is like. My first guess for the type is Giant Thailand Common guava. Based on plants that I recieved from Exotica. How exciting.
David, try not to cut off that branch until you have seen fruit from it. Maybe between the bunch of us we can build a visual guava data base.

Gregory, 3 leaves

It started with this years growth; first bud node had 3 leaves, next one 2, then each following are 3.

I guess time will tell if if continues.
