Mexican Creame Guava???

Apart from the apparent mutation of the plant, can anyone tell me what is the cultivar of this plant? Hi David, do the leaves resemble a mexican creame guava? And no, I dun think the mutation is caused by the seasonal growth as I lived in the tropics, so I am still scratching my head for answers...

Jet

The leaves to me, just resemble a regular tropical Guava, most of my plants have leaves just like yours.

Ate my first Mexican Creme, not fully ripe, but not bad

It was soft on one side and a bit crisp on the other. It was over all mildly sweet and flavorful, not odd yucky guava taste. The flesh was soft to mildly crisp, very good and refreshing.

Will wait for drop ripe though, much more flavorful.

Realized that Mexican Cremes are not like many other guavas, especially commercial types in the stores. I find they tend to be just stiff and pithy, not crispy and juicy like the one.
