Variegated Dwarf Orinoco???
Why I think so is:
(1) The label would have said "Variegated Dwarf Orinoco", not "Dwarf Orinoco". It comes from a well known supplier of bananas and they have preprinted lables.
(2) The wholesaling nursery sells AEAE.
(3) The price for a well established 5 gallon plant was $24.95, hardly what a variegated plant would sell for.
Regardless, it will go well with my new patio area where I have some palms. The variegation is yellow, which is good for my climate as it won't burn as much.

Cool Tom! Would love to see some pictures. Might be one of those rare variegated TC plants that show up from time to time from mass propagation. AeAe doesn't have any yellow variegation so it is very unlikely that its one of those.

Mo,
I didn' t know they existed. If it is a d. orinoco that's even better, because it's going to be in a pot on my patio. Absolutely no white in the leaf.
Richard,
The wholesailing nursery does sell TC plants. l'll try to get a picture up this weekend.
Jeff,
It was the last one. The nursery always orders their subtropicals in groups of five, so I have no idea what the others looked like.
