a few new finds (pics)

I always check the discount rack at lowes, I've gotten some great deals that way. Today for example, a wilted coffee plant, about 4+' tall (including the pot) for $17. I'm thankful it is Arabica and not one of the other strains. I bought a large pot for it, watered the heck out of it and low and behold.....I've seen a fruiting one just a little bigger thatn this.

Logee's banana, full price

supposed to be able to fruit w/out choking, we'll see. This little thing is the most expensive banana I've bought, fruit better be good.

it hasn't even been a year yet since these TC from goingbananas in FL arrived. I planted them into 1-gal pots and overwintered them in a warm southern window.

non-choking banana?

Ethan - what is the variety of non-chocking banana?

sorry Jeff, Logee's 'Dwarf Lady Finger'

I have a super dwarf cav, but from what I understand, they are prone to choking in many environments. I saw this one and read a little about it at bananas.org, thought I might be able to get it to fruit? I think Jeff in Mooooodesto has a 'Tiny Prince'(?), will be interesting to see it fruit too.

sorry for the confusion,

it was the lowes on Panama, but for seeds...

Sorry, I dont think they had anymore Carlos, but they did have two nice looking orchids and some other stufff. I also found a site that sells green coffee beans. I already have some 'Kona' seedlings (TWF), but after seeing this site, I might try a few more.

Stan, thanks for the comment, Hayward has beautiful weather, but I'd have to rent your closet to afford to live there. Just for info, there is another 10-15' beyond where I'm standing to the fence, and that is the short side of the yard.
