Vasconcellae sources
I am looking for different varieties of Vasconcellae genus
Can anybody help me?
Has anybody seeds available of monoica and weberbaueri?

Have you got the seeds I sent you yet?
The trouble we have is that there is no longer any exports ex-Andes area where these plants occur naturally, so the only sources are people like ourselves who have existing plants. And most of the cultivated plants are hybrids, as it is nearly impossible to prevent hybridisation when more than one species is grown in the same place.
I have some seedligns from Southern India that probbaly represents a totally different genetic line to the rest of the NZ plants, it will be interesting to see what they are like.
Your only chance of finding true plants is from a botanical garden, if you can access them.

I have just received your seeds on monday
They are arrived perfectly well
I pop them in some pots I can not wait for them to grow
So do you think I have any hoipe to find those sources?

I've tried and failed. There are a few university collections in Australia and Hawaii that have some, but importing the material into my country is more expensive than I can justify for a hobby.
