Fruitless Holiday Avocado Tree

Do you keep the soil damp?
Do you leave the leaves under the tree and maybe apply more mulch?
Do you apply actual Avocado/Citrus fertilizer?
Did you clear out the lawn, if there was one at least 3 feet, and better yet 4 feet away from the tree in all directions?
If you have not done these things, they could be all or or part of the problem.
Also it takes an Avocado tree, more often then not, at least 3 to 4 years to set fruit. They are senstive to a lack of water, some nutrients and heat, and anyone by itself can cause the tree to stress and abort the fruit or never develop them in the first place.
Your tree has only been in the ground for 3 years, might need one more year, or two.
