Caryota Urens flower & die?

Hi all! I am in Northern San Diego, looking to plant a caryota species. I like the look of the gigas, but there is a nursery nearby closing down and has 10' Urens for cheap. My questions is: Do other caryota species flower and die like the urens? Do you have a picture of urens vs. gigas? Thanks for your help and expertise!

All caryotas flower and die, but the flowering starts from the base and works its way up. Urens is very fast growing compared to gigas, and will flower and die sooner. Gigas is more maintenance, urens grows like a weed even if neglected.

Gigas is also much, much larger.
