Anyone know of a nursery that ships Cherimoya's?

as a rule cherimoyas are not very productive in florida i know of one called dream cherimoya that prduces as well as the gefner atemoya still trying to get one. but most of them might give a few fruit here and there. i do have two one is a seedling own roots and the other is a seeldling grafted to custard apple and the grafted one should be plenty big enough to produce or at least flower. if you have the space than go for it but still would not have high hopes for them fruiting heavy in any part of florida. there are some good atemoyas i still have not had any luck at all with getting a 48-26 think its called something different now i have bought plants and got budwood several times i just have not had luck with it. but the gefener is doing really good and just got budwood and a succesful graft of sterma suposed to be a good one. i do have a pinks mammoth but have yet for it to fruit maybe this year. and if you can get a red sugar apple specially if it is campong mauve that is a good sugar apple. good luck with them if you do buy the plants

the main reason nurserys donot carry cherimoyas is because they cannot truthfully say that they will produce heavy in florida thats why atemoya the cross of cherimoya x sugar apple was created. they carry atemoyas and sugar apples that they know they can say will prodcue heavy. if there where cherimoyas that they could sell as highly productive they would be in all the tropical fruit nurserys. they would also sell really really well

I am not really too concerned with getting a huge amount of fruit. I am just looking for enough for me and my wife. I'd be happy with just a handful per tree. I do actually have a Kampong mauve sugar sugar apple and recently bought a 48-26 atemoya (called Lisa now). Pine island sells the Lisa if you are looking for one.

Ty Ty nursery, bag of worms unless it has dramatically changed recently A few years ago, most who bought from them did not get what they ordered, or the quality, and when they complained, they got shafted royally bad.
Hey, read these posts.

Ok, I am not up on all of the abbreviated words used today. Most don't use shorted words on slow chat boards like this, and other I log onto.
Just simple miscommunication, sorry.

I can't believe the Nursery @ Ty Ty is still in business. It's been 6 years since my atrocious interaction with them. Utterly unscrupulous people!

Ty Ty seems to have grown, and I read once, they have other plants sites under differnet names, but the same nursery.

At the moment I cannot recall the online nurseries but I did notice that several of the websites use exactly the same format as Ty Ty.
It is a shame...good web design, excellent marketing and apparently poor product.

I have been doing some reading and have decided to pick up a honey heart, and either a selma or a booth. I am having trouble deciding between the two. Any opinions on which is better between the booth and the selma?

Selma is the better one of the two. I am unimpressed with booth, it doesn't perform well in my climate. Selma does much better, and tastes better too.

Do you know of anywhere that sells Selma trees? I was hoping you would say the booth was better since they seem much easier to find. It's looking like I may just have to plant seeds of the selma and hope they turn out pretty similar to an actual Selma. Calimoya sells Selma fruit right?

Calimoya did sell Selma, the last I heard. He may have seeds?
