Is Hubbardston Nonesuch on par with Anna/Dorsett Golden

Or would it be viewed as more like the other low chill "Socal" apples?

On a side note not not just Anna and Golden Dorsett, but Pineapple Quince, Angel Red Pomegranate, and Garden Prince Almond are breaking dormancy. Plus the Fuji Apple and the Asain Pear really want too. . .

Nonethesuch

There was a report in NAFEX about nonethesuch not needing any chill. I think it might be on par with Winter banana. I would recommend it as worthwhile to try.

Outstanding flavor

that was notable (among 70 varieties), for me, at the fall apple tasting at Wilder Ranch in Santa Cruz.

How low is the chill estimated to be on this apple?

Mistaken again, my brain is still in Maui

It was 'Brushy Mountain Limbertwig' that was a stand out for me.

Looking at the list of the apples actually at that tasting, Hubbardston Nonesuch was NOT there.

Will post some Maui photos soon, to redeem myself.
