another apple opinion question

Does anyone have any opinions on King David and San Jacinto Apple? I potentially have a scion or two with which to graft. What type of chilling do they want.

King David is one of the best

I have a king David and it is delicious, one of the best. I highly recommend it. I've never heard of san jacinto but I picked that up at the exchange and I will try it out.

Btw, king David is very heat tolerant, an excellent choice for California.

King David

has a spectacular, complex flavor.

Unlike Red Delicious, it doesn't taste like sugar water.

I believe it is one of the few apples that can be used by itself to make cider because it is so flavorful. Gold Rush is another, also one of my favorite apples.
