Tasted first Cherimoya
It was a bit dissapointing, because this fruit that I picked because it was split wasn't ripe, the seeds were still brown instead of the normal black and the fruit didn't have much Cherimoya zingyness or juice, It also went kind of dehydrated and spongy while it ripened (or got soft). It tasted amazingly like a Cherimoya I bought in a supermarket in the U.S.A and we threw that one out without eating it all. The Atemoyas here in the supermakets taste alot like this Cherimoya did, kinda bland, kinda sickly? smelling. It wasn't acid at all and really bad aftertaste. I hope a fully ripe White wont taste like a fully ripe Atemoya, anyway I give my first grown Cherimoya 4 out of 10 on the Cherimoya scale, one of the worst tasting ones I've had, It was quite edible and still better than an apple or a banana or other not legendary fruits but for a Cherimoya it wasn't very good, the good news is, it can only get better from here! : ) and I have my cross breed seeds! (about 50)

Hey Jason,
I've also noticed that they tend to be not so good when not ripe! Don't let it get to you, the next one will be better!
