The container plants prefer water everyday (in the warmer days of summer). But most can go without water for upto 2 days without any problems. When the temps rise above 90 degrees and the santa ana winds are blowing the plants need water twice a day to reduce damage to the leaves.

Yeah I put a lot of work into making sure everything is happy where it is. Unfortunately I got a couple trees at least that have push roots through the container in the search for water. Would love to install timer drip irrigation for all the containers.
The heat is kicking in this time of the year, temps average in the mid 80s with hot days in the low 90s. Right now its 87 with 36% humidity.

I was using kelp powder fertilizer with water. Was working pretty well, however I need a new sprayer to apply it. Also I burned some leaves on one of the pomegranates with it. Next time I use it, will make sure its diluted more.

Null zero, What is the largest container size you work with in your plant paradise? what is the smallest container size/ cultivar that you get quality fruit from?
Brian, it seems like your growing season is like mine with all your indoor and windowsill and drawer projects you have shown us, 24/7 365 as they say.

Largest container sizes I work with; 55 gal plastic drum and +55-75 gal tree container. Dwarf Orinoco is in the 55 gal and the 55-75 is a Weeping Mulberry. Average container size is about 10 gal.
Smallest container size with good yield of fruit. Thats an easy one, Opuntia monacantha. Its in a 3gal container with no roots extending out. Its setting a crop of 12-15 fruits about the size of a medium egg (or should be there when ripe). Going to be taking the tongs out and burning off the glochids, when I harvest the fruits for the first time.
Anna apple performs very well with yields. It has been averaging 10-20 medium to small apples twice a year. Its on a M26 in a 20 gal fabric container.

8 month old Moringa seedling. Was germinated last year in the fall and went into a slowed growth hibernation stage. Now its doing very well and taking off.
Dappled shade zone, this is where I grow a lot of seedlings and Passiflora. Any plants which are excessive sun and heat sensitive.
Fruiting cactus section, good full sun exposure.
Believe this is a Champagne mango seedling. Given to me by dnt, thanks!
Three year old Tabasco pepper plant

Opuntia sp. wall
'Hanna Fuyu' persimmon in 5 gal SWC. I counted I believe 9 fruits, will have to double check. Think its time for a repot into a 10 gal to 20 gal fabric container.
'Mauritius' Lychee in 18 gal SWC. This is flushing very healthy looking growth.
