If anyone would like a few Poha seeds let me know. Just seeded out 2 flats to restart my patch and have tons left over. This is from a nice strain that is several generations old here in So. California, I collected the seeds a few years ago from a fruit a CRFG member gave me at the OC fair. I keep rotating a patch every 2 years and get a bumper crop. Send me a PM and I'll make arrangements to mail them to you. Probably have over a hundred from the last big harvest from last year, just before I yanked the plants.

Those of you who asked for Poha seed, your packs went out today, hope you enjoy. If you want sowing/growing info let me know, I've been growing these guys for years.

I have a Passiflora antioquiensis x parritae 'Mission Dolares' which I can take future cuttings from when it puts on some more growth. Also have Yacon divisions and cuttings in the late spring. I have a bunch of seeds as well, like collecting the rarer cactus fruiting plants. Will have Stenocereus queretaroensis seeds, Corryocactus brevistylus, Oreocereus pseudofossulatus, and a few others.

My poha (cape gooseberry) is like a weed. Despite cold nights and no protection, it's on its third year and getting ready to bloom again. I had no idea it was so tough or grew so large and find myself breaking off branches to keep it from taking over. Does anyone know if these stems can be rooted?

Yes, they can definitely be rooted from cuttings.

Thanks for the advice, Jacob. I'll root some for local gardening friends.
