It is being suggested that I gather the substantial leaf litter under my avocado trees, run it through the shredder, and re-distribute the mulch, along with other woody mulch, back around the trees (away from the trunks). I'm seeing conflicting literature on this an I am hoping someone out there can provide some advice. I have heard this might help with the P. Cinnamomi (Root Rot) Thanks!

I can see why that might be suggested. What ever minerals it takes to grow the tree is in the leaves. I think it is a go.
