Hello to all of you here at the Cloudforest Cafe. I remember a number of names from my many adolescent years spent lurking after I met Axel at the CRFG fruit festival in Santa Cruz when I was in... 6th grade?

Now I am studying landscape design and permaculture at Merritt College over in Oakland. While I no longer have a garden since I moved to the East Bay my campus is keeping me sane and entertained as I watch the White Sapote fruit grow.

I have always loved fruit, vegetables, plants, and fungi since they make every season special as I await new treats for the kitchen!

I am currently looking for seeds of Mexican avocado varieties and white sapote seeds so I can start rootstock for grafting plants for plant sales at school. If anyone has extra or knows of trees that I could visit to collect ground falls for seed I would be very grateful.

I hope to have time to discuss this wonderful hobby this semester with all the people here.

Welcome! Were you the kid that lived near Santa Rosa? It's nice to see you on the Cloudforest. Sorry I missed your post and didn't reply earlier. You should come by and visit sometimes.
