I am Tomas. I think I have been lurking for a few years at the old board, and wrote just a few posts. I live in the south of Florida, a little north of Miami, in a smallish town called Delray Beach. I am a pure amature when it comes to growing tropical and subtropical fruit plants. It's been a roller coaster of failures and successes. As I learn from my mistakes the there have been fewer failures year by year so that's a good thing. I think I have figured how to grow some of the species because they are still alive. For some reason I am mostly attracted to rare fruit plants of which many have only sparse information on the Internet and books which is perhaps why I may have killed more plants than anyone else. So I don't really have many of the common fruit trees. Among others, I have a special interest Eugenias.
