i'm collecting seeds from a wide variety of things at the girlfriend's place that i will give away to interested people.
for now i have seeds from a flower in the asteraceae family.
she calls it hawaiian sunflower, i saw one in a parking lot on oahu.
it closely resembles the native sunflowers to san diego county, big bushes, which have many 3 inch diameter heads, yellow rays, yellow disks and light green foliage, which in my opinion is better to look at than the native variety.
all seeds will be available for local pickup (meetups can be arranged via PM)
or by mail (pm address).

scions, or more likely cuttings, will be available at a later date for local pickup only.

i've had great success with passiflora edulis cuttings 22 cuttings out of 25 survived, so those will very likely be available in the future.
one question relating to the passiflora though, i'm told they will only last approximately 7 years. do cuttings share the age of the parent, or are they essentially a new plant?

New plant.

I think passiflora succumb to things in the soil (like nematodes) and that is what shortens their life to 5-7 years. New cutting, new roots, new plant....

got many passiflora edulis seeds for anyone who wants them, they take a very long time to open in jiffy starter pellets, but they will germ, it takes at least 3 months.

but they become very pretty seedlings.

By request i can retrieve some white sapote scions, but a request should be made soon before the dormancy period arrives.

they're from this tree.
