I have a Psidium Guava, i got it from a friend in Texas
have no idea what type, but what i can tell its just a plain Guava

Can i use this to graft a Strawberry guava scion to ?
I know they are different
I am guessing a Mexican Creme would graft OK,
so i am looking for that, or ANY other variety - preferably tasty :)

so i can have a few different types

check my list for trades, have lots of Papaya

By the way, what type of Guava do you think tastes best ?
Im sure this is at least partially subjective
but i know some are supposedly better than others...

In my experience the two don't graft...it would be best to keep them as separate plants anyways since they have different growth habits. I can't really offer detailed advice on varieties for the common guava...here most trees are seedlings and they're plentiful enough (both species are considered invasive) that for the most part only those that grow them for commercial juice and jelly/jam production put a lot of attention on named varieties. There is a variety sold as "Thai white" which is seedless and is decently tasty, it's the only variety that comes to mind as memorable regarding common guavas.

The best I have tried is called Benjamin, I will see about getting one that is ship-able.
