Have you successfully started them from seed before?

I ask because I've started them from seed before, but the seedlings suffered the same fate as what others have written -- since the seeds are so tiny (like dust), the seedlings are tiny, and they end up dying after a few weeks or a month. I had no problem with germination, but had a hard time keeping them alive.

You might get a plant of it from Exotica.

That said, if you want seeds I've gotten them both on ebay and from trade winds.

Did the tradewind seeds germinate? I didn't get any to sprout, but thought maybe they were just not viable long term? I have varying luck depending on what type of seed.

None of the tradewinds ones sprouted, now that I think of it.

The ones I got off ebay sprouted. The person was in Florida, and they actually just sent me one tiny fruit and it was half rotten and full of seeds when I got it, and they sprouted nicely. The trouble was keeping them alive...

I should mention I have one small plant, and while it has been beaten by the winds on the rooftop garden, it's finally growing again and I might be able to provide cuttings in a few months if it starts growing well.
