So far a year into the mango experiment all is going very well -- no fatalities  . Tree has doubled in size. It grew like crazy when we had the 100+ degree heat.

Last year:

This year (slightly eaten by the passion fruit vine).

Growing fine -- need to see some blossoms and fruit set.

All,
Wanted to give an update on the mango experiments. Tree is now 8 ft tall -- bloomed profusely blossom head on every branch. There are small fruit set on each flower head. Will have to see if the fruit stays on, so far so good.

Also, had good success this year with fruiting Jaboticaba.
