I need help on ID'ing a plant.

A few years ago I bought a ground cover plant that has three quarter inch long evergreen oblong leaves, is about 8" high and has quite large red berries. I have lost the name tag. Any ideas?

Cotoneaster?

Jeff, she says she'd have to see a photo or view it in person to be sure but that was Holli's first suggestion...

We had a great visit to Joe's place on Saltspring yesterday. I hope last night's wind storm didn't set anybody's plants back!

ID Questions

Hi Jeff. Could the plant you describe be Gaultheria procumbens (Wintergreen)? Squish a berry and describe the smell. Arctostaphylos (Kinnikinnick) is another possibility. A bit more of a description would help.
