Lou,
I have only seen one for sale...ever....
It was at Cedar Rim Nursery in Langley...at least 5 years ago. It looked to be approx a 15 gallon plant and was a little over $1000.
I have two Jubs. One was grown from seed by Fred Fiege (sp?) and the other was imported from Chile by a guy from Powell River. There must be a way to import them.

This might actually work.
- register and "get an address" at a shipping business on the Washington side of the border. (IE. This service is free at TSB Shipping in Point Roberts ... where I have my U.S. address. I just pay a few dollars per package.)
- Have a Jubaea and a Kentia palm shipped from Jungle Music in San Diego to your address in Washington.
- (probably an unnecessary step) Take off identification tags off of the Jubaea
- Cross the border with your two "Indoor" plants and pay whatever duty you need to
As long as they still allow indoor plants you should have a 95% likelihood of success, I think.

I know what you're thinking - sheltered spot and abbotsford, oxymoron! it would go on a full southern exposure spot, raised bed with a slight downward grade, good drainage and 75 foot plus trees on all sides.
