Roger, I can't believe that thing is still going so much later than its usual season. It has been cool this spring!!

this has been the lastest in 5yrs.

Ian its actually six to eight weeks later than normal this year. I usually say spring has arrive in my garden when the acacia blooms. Very late this year! Cool temps and not a lot of sun this spring.

Spring has been cool. My basjoo banana is at the stage it usually is at during late March. It is just now starting to show some green shoots.

Is that A. pravissima?

That is a much more handsome tree than the ubiquitous A. dealbata which is an invasive weed in these parts. I'll have to get myself one.
