Protea photos

If anyone is interested I have posted some photos of some of the Proteas I am growing at the nursery. I thought I would post it on another message board that people should use more... LOL.

Thanks for posting all the pics Ian. It's interesting to see the different species. I really like the leucadendrons and the unusual leaves on Banksia blechnifolia.

Proteas for sale

Steve, most of the 4" stuff is, or will be, for sale at some point, and so will most of the Banksia seedlings (except for things like B. blechnifolia which I only have one of). Some of the other plants will have to wait a year or two until I take cuttings. I'm sure some of the Leucadendrons and Banksias would do well in your area - I've seen them myself.

Wow, there are some real beauties out there. And you've got that elusive P. caffra. Good job, Ian! I hope your business will grow just as well as the shown plants had, and some day you'll start shipping to Europe ;-)
