Forestfarm nursery

Has anyone ordered from the Forestfarm Nursery in southern Oregon and if so, were you satisfied? They seem to have many of the trees that I've been unable to find at local Seattle area nurseries.

Forestfarm is excellent

I made my first order from Forestfarm earlier this spring and was VERY happy with the plants, supporting paperwork and packaging. I would not hesitate to order from them again.

Yes

I have ordered several times over the last three years from Forest Farm both personally and for the parks that I manage. I have been very pleased with the plants, the packaging, and the prompt service.

Not far from Forest Farm (Williams) is Plant Oregon (Talent) which I have also been pleased with. They have larger specimens, and will go out of their way to accommodate the customer. I would readily endorse both of these businesses.

Forestfarm

Forestfarm has been in business since 1976?? and has an excellent overall reputation. I used to order from them in the late 90s - quite a few of the interesting plants in my garden came from them. Twice they sent me misidentified plants, but for the most part they are very good so I didn't worry about it.

I like that place

They have a lot of stuff that others don't have. Some of it is expensive, but some is not. I have ordered a lot of obscure cherries and blackberries from there. Some didn't fruit, but he (Ray Prag, founder) would always be honest and say, I don't really know what this plant will turn out to be. Why don't you tell us when it grows up?

Very good

I ordered plants from them last year and was very pleased at the size and health of the plants, and by their cust. service.

a notch below excellent in my opinion

still very good, but, they've sent me a couple things that had just been in the tubes too long in my opinion. Roots completely knotted and circling. But they have such a selection, are are cheap if you order in sufficient quantity, even with shipping to the east...it's kind of like, big deal.
