Trachy leaf spot

I'm sure this has been discussed before but I'm new to growing palms, is there a good fungicide to use on trachies with black fungal spots or should you just cut off the infected stem? I would hate to have to butcher my palm just before growing season.

Leaf spot

I seldome see leaf spot on T. fortunei. It is more typical to desert palms. It is usually a sign of poor drainage. Is the palm in heavy soil with poor winter drainange? If this is the case then fungicide won't help.
