That's a gorgeous ensete, and it looks great there on your deck!

I love those bananas. That is a beautiful specimine you've grown. It should grow nicely well into October. I grew that banana at my parents house in Lake Oswego OR for 3 years before it got to big to dig up and store so it froze the winter of 2006-07. You will probably get one more season out of it and then it will be to big to store unless you've got a lot of storage. I would plant in the ground next spring so you can get the most growth out of it before you lose it. The trick is to have some backup Ensetes about a year apart in growth, that way you can replace the big one with a smaller one and then you aren't totally bummed when the big one dies. 3 maybe 4 years is about as long as you can keep them before they become to big to store. Down here I don't have to worry about them freezing out but I can't grow them since they are to big for my appartments deck.
