too late to separate pups

Is it too late to separate my musa basjoo pups, and if not can you tell me how(in detail)?

No problem

I've transplanted and separated pups in September without any problem. I use a sharp spade and go deep between the mother plant and the pup. Straight down then dig around it to make sure you get roots. They transplant like a weed. Good luck, Joe
