Article on palm society member Larry Wick

There was an article in the North Shore News this morning depicting the life and garden of fellow palm society member Larry Wick. He has a beautiful exotic garden just a few minutes from where I live. His garden has won a number of contests in the North and West Vancouver area. Larry is 77 years old but that doesn't stop him from the labour intensive work that exotic gardening can be. He not only has a remarkable talent for exotic gardening, he is a genuinely good person and well respected by those of us who enjoy this hobby.

Vito's praise of Larry is shared by all

Thanks Vito for your praise of my friend and fellow Palm Society Member, Larry Wick. Sorry I missed that article about Larry Wick, in the North Shore News, but I'm it's truly justified. There is no question of Larry's Horticultural knowledge, but Larry is a real gentlemen and he is always ready to share his knowledge and plants with fellow Palm Society members. Thanks again Vito

Exotic Garden

There is no doubt , Larry is an awesome gardener and an excellent guy . He is an inspiration to others that love to push the limits . I saw Larry this past summer as he was visiting SaltSpring and taking in our Sept. Fall Fair . Joe
