Citrus?

How many people are experimenting with Citrus outdoors in the NW?

I have three types:

Changsha Mandarin - (survived the winter and is now growing!)

Honey Mandarin - New acquisition this Spring

Improved Meyer Lemon - New acquisition this Spring

I'm also growing Kiwi, Musa Basjoo and (of course) a few palms and a Sago.

Citrus

I have a meyer lemon that made it through the winter and is now producing a ton of new growth. There are two fully ripe lemons on it right now. I still have it in a pot which I kept outside all winter but I kept the pot right against the house and covered it with an old comforter during cold nights to protect the fruit. During the cold snap I wrapped a string of Christmas lights around it for extra heat.
It seemed to work.
